More birds at Greenbrae.

At the back of the house is a spinney. Every year we have male pheasants shouting for a mate. Two were stomping around yesterday, one magnificent beast, the other smaller and I wouldnt fancy his chances!
The geese remained all day. Apparently they do not go so far for their food as they are resting up for the long flight to their nesting grounds.
The first picture of the geese shows the flooded valley to the right of us and the other the field to the left of us. In the distance is Mormond Hill which has the offshore telecommunications equipment and the White Horse on the hillside, bit difficult to make out as he needs a trim. The grass is removed to reveal the granite beneath, in the shape of the horse. There is a stag on the other side of the hill.
