Thats it folks, the crops are gathered in and it wont be long before the cows are taken inside too. Another year when I did very little in our green corner. The main crop in the greenhouse is a huge nicotiana that never made it to the outside. Still sitting in a seed tray, though its roots have obviously penetrated downwards. At least I will have its seed for next year.
Busier than ever with guests, next week we have all three rooms full for six nights. After that we begin the smartening up in earnest, the hotel inspector is due. Unlike the one on the tele she doesnt swear, though if you listen carefully you can hear me doing just that.
