The house.

Greenbrae is a 19th century farm house which was extended to the side and rear about twenty years ago. It has seven bedrooms, of which three are for paying guests.
The bedrooms are all ensuite with a bath and a shower.
Before we bought Greenbrae it was used as a care home for the elderly. Our loft is still full of zimmer frames, bed guards, etc. We are still trying to empty it!
We have done a lot of work on the house. Re-decorated every room - at least once. Re-floored the 'new' part - the old part still has the original wooden floor boards, and wooden shutters at the windows, and stripped pine doors. Every where else has laminated flooring.
Showers were fitted in all the bathrooms, and tiled. New fixtures and fittings also.
Its an ongoing process. As part of the VisitScotland Tourism Authority we are assessed annually so have to keep up with it whether we want to or not, or can afford it or not, to maintain our three star rating. Though I think we should be five star. But thats another story.
